Jean-Binh Valente, CEO

Jean-Binh has over ten years of experience in product manufacturing and brand licensing. He created the Myth Wear company which licensed animation titles that regularly appeared on TV including Bleach, InuYasha, Full Metal Alchemist, Dragon Ball, and many more. The battles fought for his licenses gained Myth Wear the distinction of being the first line of licensed anime bags found in many national chain stores including Borders, Musicland, Media Play and Hot Topic. Jean-Binh strived to be the leader in executing cutting edge styles in bag designs. His dedication to perfection set forth benchmark standards stating that not only should the license sell the bag, but the bags' designs must be hip and functional urging people to purchase based on aesthetics as though there was no licensed imagery attached. Jean also has over 20 years of sales and marketing experience, highlighted by his creation and development of Planet Anime, notable for being the first anime-themed retail store to appear in the United States, as documented by Carl Horn in his book Japan Edge.
